Yes that's true, there was a time when they did cut wrist slashing (like the one shown in Suicide) but they stopped that years ago. Demons of the Mind contained such a scene and was cut back in the 70's but the cut was recently waived. I'm surprised it doesn't state UNCUT on the cover because usually if a film has been passed uncut by the BBFC (which in this case it was) then they usualy put out their uncut banner (regardless of whether a longer version exists somewhere in the world).
