I think it was issues with the early Buffy seasons. Some of my dvd's are widescreen.
Just as a footnote. I went looking to see if there was a problem with the early series, clicked on a site that mentioned it called Whedoninfo and got assaulted with one of those 'Your browser is frozen, call .....' windows. Tossers!
