As for Calvaire, whilst I quite liked it it isn't a patch on some of the other New Wave French-Extreme from the same era (even though it's Belgian but I'm lumping them together here as the language is French and they are definitely cut from the same cloth).
It's much better than the cinematic abortion that is Frontiers though. |
I 's been reading the conversation about Calvaire and knew i knew the movie somehwhere, i have the uk release called 'The Ordeal' - I got the tartan dvd years ago and really love the movie, it's definatly worth buying!
I adore Rare Exports too.
Thank you Dem and Stephen for getting me info on the UK Release of 'Ghost Story' I will put an order in for that movie, it looks quite good.
