I know these people deserve private lives but this was totally unexpected. I have been reading threads on here about his new album and listening to links put on here, he was still pushing the envelope and still not afraid to step away from mainstream.
One thing I am glad about is that this did not happen at the same time as Lemmy as I think he may have ended up a footnote and overshadowed by the more well known Mr Bowie, they both deserve their moment of public reflection.
What a legend and inspiration. Gutted. R.I.P David.
