JUNGLE CAPTIVE (1945)
The final film in Universal 's Paula The Ape woman series that started with Captive Wild Woman (1943).
After the events of Jungle Woman (1944), the body Paula of the ape woman is stolen from the morgue. A Biochemist attemps to revive Paula with blood from his female assistant. His experiments are enough to revert Paula back to human form (this time played by Vicky Lane) but she is just a walking shell. He needs a new brain for Paula and his pretty assistant is to be the donor but henchman Rondo Hatton is not happy about this and has other ideas.........
Often overlooked and rarely seen Universal horror that although not up to the highs of Captive Wild Woman is still very enjoyable and Paula gets some, if short action in the ape woman make up than she did in Jungle Woman.
