This was difficult for me because it's not one of my favourite genres. I purposely didn't include Bond because I consider them adventure or spy films rather than action. I didn't include Big Trouble in Little China or Beverly Hills Cop because they are comedy films to me and I didn't include any Jackie Chan because Martial Arts is separate to action in
my opinion.
There might be some contention where Aliens is concerned but in all aspects it's an action film, it just happens to be set in space.
