American werewolf is one of the greatest horrors made, it perfectly blends horror, tragedy, romance and a very british dark sense of humour . I once had a big row with some idiot who thought dog soldiers was a superior film. |
Dog Soldiers is a great film, but American Werewolf is
the modern-day werewolf film! Who can argue with dialogue like - "A naked American man stole my balloons!"
As for the Howling debate. I'm rather fond of the original bar the ridiculous ending where she turns into a Chihuahua. It has a certain atmosphere to it and was a VHS favourite back in the day.
