I think it can do if you let your mind let it (i.e. forget about the barren Lancashire landscapes and all those sexy pigs and sheep ). The visuals certainly aid some of the aural experience, but I get where you're coming from in reference to listening to soundtracks outside of their 'home' environment... it doesn't always work for all films and varies from person to person.

Nothing set in stone as such, but I will be visiting Symptoms and The Witch at some point this month.

I kicked off today with Sidney Hayers' Circus of Horrors and have The Purge lined up for tonight - both virgin viewings I may add.
