'The Nightmare Returns' is a short interlude piece, that brings back good memories of the original nightmare. The first part of the song is very creepy, with the keyboards invoking a child's lullaby. Then it turns into something very dramatic

The fourth song on the album,
'A Runaway Train', was something that fans had been waiting for since 1973. It reunited Alice with the surviving members of the original ACG. Musically, it's a good hard rocking song
As well as Dunaway, Smith and Bruce, this song features the first of the albums 'guest stars'. Guitar is provided by Vince Gill, who is better known as an American Country and Western singer/guitarist. He was actually invited to join Dire Straits in 1991, but he declined the offer (no jokes please!)
