The Return of Doctor Mysterio is being shown in cinemas in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and now Denmark.

The few million viewers who watch the show in the UK are but a small part of the equation in 2016, and referring back to Hivemind's quote -

As long as it's a world wide success there will always be demand that's why the BBC wants a series a year, something Moffat wasn't delivering, and the reason i feel Power of the Daleks was animated.- ie the BBC had nothing to sell this Christmas.
