To add to the cart i always browse in one window then open up new ones for individual items. I then click add to cart on the item pages and after a few seconds a box comes up saying 'added to cart'. I then close the window.
The page i'm browsing the lists with still says 0 or 1 item in the basket even though i keep refreshing by changing page number. It's only when i click 'cart' that everything is shown usually.
That might seem an odd way to work but i use it on HMV, Amazon, everywhere.
