I finally got a reply from Network about the "To Die For" sound issue:

We have investigated this issue on a copy of the title at our end and can
see no such issue. I can hear a difference in overall volume between the
stereo and 5.1 tracks, but no issue in the mixing levels within the 5.1
track.
Can you please confirm the precise nature of the issue and the timecodes
when you are experiencing them so that I can investigate further?

So I guess I am insane? Anyone else have this release and have issues with the 5.1 track?
