I assume there is some way they incorporate those into the overall statistics. Certainly things have changed it's just the press don't seem to realise it as they often write stories based on non-live shows losing viewing figures. Especially
Doctor Who.
I-Player figures are based on number of viewings above a certain time length. Not sure how many minutes without looking it up.
BARB who collate these things do it on overnights which include those that record a show then watch it that same evening, then a 7 day figure than finally a 28 day final figure. Following
Doctor Who gives you a lot of knowledge in such matters.
