Certainly things have changed it's just the press don't seem to realise it as they often write stories based on non-live shows losing viewing figures. Especially
Doctor Who.
I-Player figures are based on number of viewings above a certain time length. Not sure how many minutes without looking it up.
BARB who collate these things do it on overnights which include those that record a show then watch it that same evening, then a 7 day figure than finally a 28 day final figure. Following
Doctor Who gives you a lot of knowledge in such matters.
