It's probably no coincidence as they are written by Shane Black, but I loved the chemistry between Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling in
The Nice Guys, Robert Downey Jr and Val Kilmer in
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and, in
Iron Man 3, between Robert Jr and Gwyneth Paltrow/Don Cheadle/Ty Simkins*.

Shane Black does dialogue like few other modern screenwriters and is one of the best people at writing buddy comedies.
