Thank you to everyone who contributed their list(s) of favourite sports films – I am still working on a definitive top 10 (and 20). The weather outside is very white at the moment thanks to the "Beast from the East" so 'Snow-based Films' would be a logical topic, but that was done last, and for at least the second time, in December.
Something I don't think has been a stand-alone topic and could be illuminating, especially if you can order the lists, is for you to compile your list of the top 10 films by the greatest director who never won an Oscar, the one and only 'Master of Suspense'.
