1999 - Recording of Big Finish's audio adaptation of the Doctor Who novel Just War took place. As the story was adapted for the Bernice Summerfield spin-off range, the Doctor was edited out of the adaptation as the story was commissioned before Big Finish were granted a licence by the BBC to produce Doctor Who audio adventures
2012 - Big Finish announced in a podcast that they were to adapt the Doctor Who novel Love and War to commemorate 20 years of Bernice Summerfield
