'True Love' was the last one of her albums that I got. I agree it's a good blues/jazz album, but I preferred her first four rockier releases - 'In the Heat of the Night', 'Crimes of Passion', 'Precious Time' and 'Get Nervous'
'Tropico', 'Seven the Hard Way' and 'Wide Awake in Dreamland' I found to be bland to the extreme, but 'True Love' was a step (back) in the right direction.
However, but by then I had entered the 'musical wilderness era'!
