Hawk The Slayer.
Another great film that i watched as a child and now own on bluray. and is one of those fantastic cheesy films that is so bad its good.
And is about two brothers, Voltan(Jack Palance)who is evil and has sold his soul to the devil in exchange for power, even murdering his own father. and the good brother Hawk, who is out to stop him with his magic sword and his band of men, a giant, a elf, a dwarf and some one handed middle-aged chap with a rapid firing crossbow.
The film is so cheaply made and looks it with the poor special effects from the early 80'. but even though admittedly most were awful it still has more charm and interest than a lot of the cgi rubbish made nowadays.
I enjoy this film a lot with it's brilliant disco score.
and there's even a nice cameo as well from Italian horror queen Catriona mcoll. 85.5 out of 100.
