Yeah, Troma are a bit hit and miss with some of their titles. I've always had some love for the Toxie series though, and am hoping the new one currently in the works lives up to the others.
Poultrygeist and
Terror Firmer are a blast, but some other typical non-tromatastic fare released on their label are worth checking out too IMO. In particular, I've found
The Hanging Woman,
Combat Shock, and
Mother's Day to be worth a look.
The Last Horror Film was also pretty interesting (particularly to fans of
Maniac...
). Still, plenty of Troma stuff I haven't seen, and some of it will undoubtably be garbage unfortunately.
