Because it is in written form rather than being spoken and doesn't really have a tone or even an emoji to indicate intent, it looked to be a serious comment where you had taken offence at a film distributor's commercial decision about the classification of a family film and for a film critic saying the new adaptation of Watership Down was less gory than the previous version.
I think this shows how easy it can be to misconstrue things which are in the written form and why it is best for threads to stay on topic.
