Horizons West (1952)
Superior western directed by Budd Boetticher. Starring Robert Ryan and Rock Hudson as two brothers back home in Texas after the civil war where they take two very different paths.
Horizons West is excellent, it's one of those westerns where you can't predict the plot during the first five minutes and all the better for it. The script twists and turns and unexpected event follows unexpected event.
Just to ad to this films's sheer greatness is a top quality support cast including Creature from the Black Lagoon's Julie Adams, John McIntire, Dennis Weaver, James Arness and Perry Mason himself - Raymond Burr.
The films only flaw is that at a mere 80 minutes it's too short.
No spoilers or story give aways, lets just say if you like westerns then watch this.
