I also thought
Black Narcissus an odd inclusion because it doesn't have the normal formula is being set in a prison camp or other location where confinement is a feature, nor does it have the sex and violence which is so prominent in the others on the list.. Because of the remote location and the way in which the nuns are generally traumatised by forbidden desire, it's similar to Ken Russell's
The Devils, only without the same level of nudity and excess.
