I think this 'Frankenstein' cut of
Dawn was part of the 'Zombie Survival' DVD box set issued years ago in Germany and limited to something like 1000 copies. I actually owned one of these releases but eventually gave it away as superior editions of the individual films appeared elsewhere.
One of the discs did indeed feature a supposed complete and totally uncut print of Romero's horror hit.
Basically the domestic extended edit with the extra parts from Argento's version grafted in by some PC wiseguy associated with this particular European box set. However, the downside was this DVD only had a German language option so unless the viewer was familiar with Deutch dialogue then he or she was stuffed!
