Easy Rider (1969)
Dennis Hopper's magical mystery tour of the US is as laid back as the machines ridden so casually throughout in this almost mythical classic of indie cinema.
The fact the film ends in sudden death means it lends itself to allegory but at it's heart Easy Rider is a call out to the young (and the young at heart) that forced Hollywood to completely rethink it's overblown ideas.
A genuine classic that comfortably sits in my top ten of all time.
