Thinking aloud. I did buy it again as part of a mint condition Alien Quadrilogy set last year from a charity shop for a quid. Wonder where that is?

I prefer the theatrical cut as the stuff in the director's cut doesn't really add much to the story and can be distracting from what should be the focus.
It's interesting for a repeated watch, but not for an occasion like yours.
