Great list of remakes as well. I'm never sure whether Evil Dead II is a remake or sequel, or both, because the cabin is intact having been mostly destroyed in the 1981 film, and the Necronomicon exists, having been completely burned in The Evil Dead. Also, Linda is in the film and she was decapitated in The Evil Dead! | Yeah, Evil Dead II is a tricky one because the first part is more a less a bigger budget remake of The Evil Dead, but I’ve always classed it as a sequel with the opening being more of a recap (albeit somewhat different) of the events of the first film
