I'm doing something which I never do usually, read multiple books at once...
The Final Empire by
Brandon Sanderson, epic fantasy plotted around a scheme for underclassmen to overthrow the King Ruler and cause a civil war between the great houses. So far so good (around 60% in) and the first of a trilogy (Mistborn Triliogy) so I will definately be checking out the other 2 books.
Death In Venice - A Queer Film Classic which is a short bio of Visconti and a critique of the film. Very interesting so far, quite a short book with plenty of pics.
A quick re-read of
Watchmen before I start watching the new HBO series which I almost started thinking it was a new adaptation of the original story but is actually a sequel so I held off. Need to re-familiarise myself, may even watch the movie again before the show. Been listening to the Trent Reznor soundtrack (without looking at the track names) and it's bloody amazing
