I got into Allen / Lande in the early 00's. Quickly went off them though as i did with so many melodic power metal type bands who released exactly the same album time after time.
It's not like Motorhead, for example, a band who have a sound and style and stick to it, that's just one band. The power metal stuff ALL sounds the same - every band sounds alike, be it Rhapsody, Sonata Arctica, Firewind, Stratovarius etc.
Then there's the heavier PM bands, such as Hammerfall and Steel Prophet...that all sound like Helloween and Accept.
