The Norliss Tapes. 1973.

A investigative reporter is drawn into a case where a artist has made a pact to back to life after his death to create a demon statue and kills people using their blood as clay.

This was meant to be a pilot episode that the series was never picked up and is now a stand alone movie and was interesting concept of zombie, vampire and voodoo mixed in. Roy Thinnes plays David Norliss the reporter who is drawn into a mystery when Ellen Cort (Angie Dickinson) is attacked at home by her deceased husband and nobody believes her, when a young girl dies mysteriously the Sheriff begins to doubt his beliefs. This wasn't a slow burner and fairly enjoyable.
