The show where we nearly lost Glen Howerton on Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia,and his Dennis shaped hole was missed in three episode's of series 13 of Its Always Sunny...I have to say A.P.Bio was a very pleasant surprise,it's seems to be a show that's flying under the radar, because Ive seen very little advertising for the show... Basically Glen Howerton plays a very reluctant advanced placement biology teacher,who has no intention of teaching his pupils, and just uses them to further his career or mainly getting revenge on people that cross him...And while it would be easy to see this character as just another version of Dennis from Its Always Sunny,his character professor Jack Carson Griffin,has alot more going on,and it really proves that Glen Howerton is a really versatile comedy actor...Also the teenage actors who are mostly made up of losers and geek's are better than the usual millennials that invest are television... Bringing up the rear as the Principal is Patton Oswalt who was also in Veep,is great and very much the opposite of Glen's character... Helping the principal is Paula Pell as Helen Henry Demarcus...The show is chock full of odd ball characters,and if you are a fan of the show Vice Principals and It's Sunny you should find plenty to enjoy here... Also scattered throughout the series is some great music, including songs by The Stranglers,The Clash and The Specials, not to mention the theme song is Listen to my Heart by The Ramone's...
