Sale Could the Silent Hill series be returning?

Courtesy of a so-called insider, who is known by the alias "Dusk Golem" on ResetEra, there have been a lot of rumours throughout 2020 that the Silent Hill franchise (owned by Konami) could be getting a revival in the form of a soft reboot. As you probably know, there was a hugely publicised falling out between Konami and Hideo Kojima several years ago, right around the time P.T. was hugely popular, and it was revealed to be a teaser for what would have been the game, called Silent Hills.

Silent Hill used to be my second favourite series after Resident Evil, but the post Team Silent ones are kind of annoying, and considering gaming has improved over the years, I think I prefer The Last of Us and The Evil Within series a lot more now.

Team Silent was a development company that Konami employed, but they personally disbanded the group responsible for the first four (and best) entries in 2005. But fans have been hopeful for months now that some of the original personnel are returning for this major new instalment, that is shrouded in mystery as much as it is fog.

So... I would like to see Konami revealing something about it at Tokyo Game Show this weekend. Do you think anything is legitimately happening, or is this all just perhaps hogwash that someone made up for attention?
