Vamp. 1986.

To get into a frat house two guys agree to hire a stripper, when they cant get one, they decide to go out to town with a third guy and stop off at a nightclub to hire one unaware they are in a vampire nest.

This has always been a delight to watch even seeing Grace Jones semi naked, she nay not be for everyone but you don't look at the mantle piece while poking the fire. Robert Rusler plays AJ who seems he can supply everything and Chris Makepeace as his long suffering friend Keith. They team up with Duncan (Gedde Watanabe) who likes to flash his cash about and wants to be their friend for a week.

What seems to start off as a comedy slowly becomes a horror with some laughter mixed in, the pace of the film can get a bit hasty as it seems to speed up and slow down. Greg Cannom provides some good make-up effects especially with Katrina's transformation. Richard Wenk's direction seemed to go one way then throws in a curve ball for a small twist with the town. Billy Drago appears the white gang member Snowball who doesn't know what gang runs the street and Deedee Pfeiffer plays the stripper barmaid Alison who somewhat becomes the films heroine.
