AC/DC sold fifty thousand in the first week on physical formats in November, Foo Fighters sold thirty nine thousand physical copies in it'e first week in mid February, but they were in supermarkets. Kings of Leon will sell shed loads this coming week. |
The whole of that top 5 has sold less copies than Foo Fighters then! That's even with £5 CD deals and ticket/CD combo's to entice buyers!
I guess that it doesn't help Alice's CD/DVD was £16.00 and the plain old CD only copy for a tenner wasn't as well placed in online shops as the pricier versions.
