The Witch In The Window. 2018.
Simon buys a house in Vermont, he takes his son with him and both try to fix it up. Simon is told of the previous owner Lydia and how the town thought she was a witch. As Simon and Finn work on the house Lydia's presence begins to get stronger.
This was something totally different than I expected to be, even though I was going into this on a blind view and never heard of It, this had the premise of being another haunted house, yet parts of it seem to be more drama. There is suspense built up and there is a good camera trick of using optical illusions with a blink and miss it. Alex Draper and Charlie Tracker play the father and son duo pretty decently as the relationship seemed strained and brought together. This does have one or two jump moments, this one does need a open mind.
