Sweet, Sweet Lonely Girl. 2016.

Adele is sent away by her mother to be a carer for her Aunt Dora who is a shut in, soon Adele makes friends with a girl called Beth and slowly her behavior changes.

This was a unexpected turn from a drama/thriller to a somewhat gothic ghost story, It is something of a slow burner but rode it out and up to the last fifteen minutes it became a bit of a cluster f@ck ending that came with a twist. The reason I said it was gothic type is the house is mentioned from being the Victorian era and still has the old decor from the 70s and seems to have rooms that may hold the secrets of someone's past. The actors Quinn Shepherd and Erin Wilhelmi do try to make it entertaining but the film is on 76 minutes long and felt they makers could have crammed in a bit more. This movie can have a love/hate moment with other viewers.
