I've also got the set that you have, and I was more than happy with it, but the new transfers do look much better.
As per the extras on the Shout Set, I've watched every minute
getting my money's worth if you like
That original Paramount set though is great if you're not too bothered about the other films, only 9 and 10 are unavailable on BD elsewhere, they're long out of print from Warner, but I guess after a certain period of exclusivity to Shout, they will bring them out worldwide again, or license them out.
