Watched via a 3-on-1 VHS. 3 of the greatest films ever made from 2 of the greatest comedians that ever lived. Absolute perfection. I went to bed with a headache and woke up with a sore throat. Both through laughing so much. 'Tell me about my dear, dear Daddy. Is it true that he's dead?' 'Well we hope he is. They buried him.' 'Oh it can't be. What did he die of?' 'I think he died of a Tuesday. Or was it a Wednesday?' |
Love a bit of Laurel and Hardy. Out of all the old comedians (lloyd, Chaplin, Keaton) I rate them the highest.
Never liked Chaplin at all for all his cinematic skill, loved Lloyd's stunts but never found him that funny, admired what Keaton did but again never really found him amusing.
But Laurel and Hardy still make me laugh my nuts off...and that's the important thing.
