Early days yet and by the time all the weeks downloads have taken effect it probably won't end up in the charts.

It's ridiculous as the album charts are as fake as the singles charts nowadays. If some one downloads or watches a song it ends up going towards a greatest hits album chart placing that's why the top 100 albums are full of them. It's not actually based on people buying an actual album either physically or digitally.

The one to take most note of is the physical sales top 100 as that is actually what people buy and i reckon Darkthrone will be top 20 in that.
In the end Darkthrone didn't chart in the top 100. It's bullshit anyway.

In the physical sales top 100 they did. The new album entered at # 16.

Really physical sales are all that matters when it comes to making money for artists off albums.

Buckcherry's new album was at #4 and Motorhead's reissue of No Sleep till Hammersmith is at # 6.
