Also watched the first episode of The Terror, a series adapted from the Dan Simmons novel of the same name. Superbly atmospheric story of two British ships HMS Terror and HMS Erabus searching for the Norhtwest Passage only to find some sort of seemingly supernatural menace haunting their voyage. I'm only one episode in but I can see a purchase on the horizon.

I too thought
The Mezzotint was excellent. It's a difficult tale to adapt i'd guess but Gatiss did it brilliantly with an excellent payoff.
I was given
The Terror on Blu for Christmas. Rather looking forward to seeing it.
