Is it ever expressly stated that the AVP films take place on Earth?
Yes, I know the landscapes, geographical formations. inhabitants and languages suggest that it happens on our home world, but is there anything that suggests this *is* ours and not a completely different globe that, by some weird Hollywood logic, looks and sounds exactly the same as Sol III?
Is there anywhere in the two films where the inevitable cheery cockernee character states: "
Cor lumme, Guv'nor. It is ain't those bleedin' Aliens and Predators wot 'ave comes dahn 'ere to our beloved old Earth, which is the third orb from the glorious sun and the place where 'Doctor Who' is screened on the BBC and posters of Kate Bush adorn the wall of every single teenage boy who has lusty thoughts in his lower regions?" or words to that effect!
