"Collaborations are a huge thing for rock and metal in 2022, but a Cradle Of Filth x Ed Sheeran collaboration will certainly push those boundaries to new levels.

In a new interview with Knotfest presenter Sophie K, Cradle Of Filth frontman Dani Filth said:"

"He’s done some of it, but then he had a baby, and then he got obviously sidetracked with that and doing whatever Ed does, which is play massive shows around the globe.

He’s not at our beck and call. But he is gonna finish it, he assures me. Actually, I spoke to him quite recently.

It will be released, when it’s finished. Fans will either have to like it or lump it really, I wouldn’t say there is an irony in it.

We really appreciate the marriage of extremes and I would rather do a track with someone like Ed Sheeran, as the clash of interests is interesting in of itself."
