Personally, I always felt that RE4 wrecked the genre and the very series it is a part of. However, I don't really agree that it's a bad game when debated about in general. It's just that RE went in an awfully messed up direction, mainly because Capcom ran out of good ideas. RE4 really was the start of that decline. But some gamers may say it was CV from 4 years prior. |
