You have missed nothing memorable, I seen it once and it was a long video game. The Last Jedi was not fun at all. I understand the logic of having a more downbeat middle entry but it has to be thrilling and you have to care about the characters. I didn't care about these characters because they had no arc, no charisma and often an entitled attitude in the real.world.
