I find Patrick a bit po-faced. There isn't much exploitation with a capital 'E' for it to be properly classified as an exploitation movie. It is well directed and acted, but I felt, given the set-up, that it should have pushed the boundaries a bit more. There was probably half an eye on the state financing causing the restraint.
I've never seen the unofficial sequel but it sounds a hoot. I think I'll import it next year.
Michael, is there any chance of Indicator releasing Summerfield, a movie that has been criminally under-represented on home video?
