Katatonia's latest album was my most played album of 2023 but I wouldn't consider them one of my favourite bands. Same with Leprous who was my most played in 2022, fantastic band but not one I'd consider a favourite.

The first two parts of my list were bands that made an impact on my life Nirvana and Sonic Youth I barely listen to anymore but their helped set me on my path so they will forever be important to me.
