I don't have
American Gigolo on any format, so would welcome a 4K Ultra HD release of it.
I only have
The Untouchables on DVD and have been thinking of upgrading to Blu-ray for several years. As it is, I'll probably skip that format altogether and go straight to the 4K.
The list came from an article in
Vogue; this is what they said about
American Gigolo:
Quote:
Julian Kaye, the male escort at the centre of Paul Schrader's 1980 drama, is the Armani man incarnate: louche, sophisticated and always impeccably dressed. The designer was commissioned to create Richard Gere's wardrobe for the film just five years after having established his label. The film brought Armani international acclaim and revolutionized men's tailoring, transforming the suit from a boxy workwear staple into something loose, light and decidedly elegant. There were also preppy shirts unbuttoned to the navel, crisp khaki trousers and a belted cashmere trench that combined Italian craftsmanship with all-out Hollywood glamour.

Other films mentioned were
The Wolf of Wall Street,
Inglourious Basterds,
The Dark Knight, and
The Social Network, but they seem very unlikely future releases for Arrow.
Goodfellas is possible, but not very likely because it had a 4K Ultra HD release from Warner Home Video in 2016. That said, if Arrow were to do a 'bells and whistles' worldwide release with brand-new extra features, it would probably be very successful.
