Red Eye
Loosely inspired by the Wes Craven film of the same name, this six-part TV miniseries is currently on ITV X and follows Dr Matthew Nolan (Richard Armitage), who is extradited from London to Beijing for a crime he says he didn't commit.
Escorting him on the plane is English police officer DC Hana Li (Jing Lusi), who is initially convinced that Nolan is guilty. However, on board flight 357, a number of suspicious deaths lead her to believe that Nolan's arrest and extradition isn't entirely accidental.
I've seen the first three episodes and thought this was going to be a longer version of the events in the 2005 film. Fortunately, events switch between the plane to London and backwards and forwards in time, expanding on the idea of a conspiracy in a series that is well acted and tense.
