I always thought Lynch meant
Inland Empire to be a loose sequel to
Mulholland Drive.
It would be nice to see him back in the director's chair where he belongs. Like you Line, I have loved all of Lynch's work up to now and would relish the thought of him making something else, especially if he returned to
Twin Peaks. Though, there is a part of me that is worried that any revisit will spoil what is essentially a perfect series:
Twin Peaks is my favourite TV series ever.
Apparently, a computer game (haven't a clue what it's called) is supposed to be coming out soon that is very similar in story and content to
Twin Peaks. Whilst not really my thing, I thought I'd mention it in case anybody was interested.
