I saw Inception today and went in with high expectations which were not only met, but surpassed by quite some way. It seems that Nolan is developing as a filmmaker at an astonishing rate as this is better than not only Insomnia but his two Batman films as well.

Leonardo DiCaprio is an actor who never seems to have a bad movie as I thought he was superb in Shutter Island and just about everything he has done since This Boy's Life and What's Eating Gilbert Grape? all those years ago. The casting is spot on with a remarkable supporting cast including Marion Cotillard, Ken Watanabe, Ellen Page, Tom Hardy and (quite surprisingly) Joseph Gordon-Levitt, all of whom are brilliant.

It is a film with so many different concepts, layers and plot twists that it will be a definite buy on Blu-ray as it will be, without a shadow of a doubt, a movie that will benefit from repeated viewings.
