Kevin Connor's Motel Hell Arrow Dual Format Kevin Connor's Motel Hell Arrow Dual Format https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.n...05589426_n.jpg “It takes all kinds of critters to make Farmer Vincent fritters!” cackle the brother-and-sister team behind the finest smoked meats in the county. They also run the friendly Motel Hello (the ‘o’ in the neon sign sometimes goes on the blink), and no matter how many times you’ve seen Psycho or The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, you can be sure that everything will be perfectly above board here as Vincent’s brother Bruce is the local sheriff. Western veteran Rory Calhoun gives a lipsmackingly demented performance as Farmer Vincent, whose twinkling bonhomie conceals a deeply depraved secret. Directed by Kevin Connor (maker of much-loved British genre classics The Land That Time Forgot and Warlords of Atlantis) and with legendary DJ Wolfman Jack as a fire-and-brimstone TV preacher, this is a gleefully twisted horror-comedy that climaxes with a showstopping chainsaw duel. Special Features: - High Definition Blu-ray (1080p) and Standard Definition DVD presentation of the film - Optional English SDH subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing - Audio commentary with director Kevin Connor moderated by Calum Waddell - Another Head on the Chopping Block: Interview with star Paul Linke - From Glamour to Gore: Interview with co-star, and former Playboy Playmate, Rosanne Katon - Ida, Be Thy Name: A look back at Motel Hell’s frightful female protagonist Ida Smith – and the secrets of creating a convincing slasher siren, with Scream Queens Elissa Dowling and Chantelle Albers, genre commentator Staci Layne Wilson and critic Shelagh Rowan-Legg - Back to the Backwoods: Director Dave Parker (The Hills Run Red) speaks about the importance of Motel Hell - Original Trailer - Reversible sleeve featuring original and newly commissioned artwork by Jeff Zornow - Collector’s booklet featuring new writing on the film by Kim Newman, illustrated with original archive stills and posters Region B/2 Released 13/05/2013 |
I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS ONE |
Me too, it's such a daft, fun film. I hope they can release it's MGM R1 DVD partner Deranged too  |
The artwork is amazing! C |
still remember watching this when i was about ten and the guy with the pig head mask scared the crap out of me had nightmares for weeks, never seen it since but cant wait too see it again |
Can't wait for this. I actually love the artwork too, despite being very critical of all of Zornow's Arrow output (and his SF output). The tone suits the film, it's dynamic, there's less of a feeling of various different things all plonked on. Cannot wait :) |
I have this on a double bill DVD with Deranged, so the upgrade to HD is a no-brainer. Such a wacky film and one I'll definitely buy – love the artwork. |

Shame about the terrible artwork, but who cares when the film is being released at all! A lovely ridiculous bit of comedy. |
I actually think that art is quite good for it. |

I'm being driven to madness here! Back in the 80's/early 90's, there was a rock band who used the line 'It takes all kinds of critters, to make Farmer Vincent's fritters', and I cannot remember who they were, and what the song was! Please help me, someone!!!!! |
I've never even heard of this film but people seem to be excited about it, I'm curious now... Sent from my Lumia 800 using Board Express |
I got bored with it first time I watched it. Dont know if I should buy this to give it a second chance |

Motel Hell is great - but I'm a sucker for 80's horror, especially slashers. |

F.K.ü. - MOTEL HELL LYRICS |
Or could it be this? There's loads of songs called Motel Hell! LOL! But this one is most definitely a tribute to the film... Blitzkid - Motel Hell (with lyrics) - YouTube |
Yeah Motel Hell is one of the best films from the eighties. Highly enjoyable. |

Ii would have been something that I had in my collection at the time, and I never had anything by those bands I think they were more mainstream metal, rather than hardcore |
Now. How about THE HOUSE WHERE EVIL DWELLS to go with it? |
Never seen this. Sounds good, though. Is it? Sent from my I9100 Galaxy S II via Tapatalk 2 |

1 Attachment(s) Both entertaining! Easily Motel Hell of the two,but House has the never less than lovely talents of Ms.Susan George.;) |
It's not a very nice Susan George though, is it? She aged really badly by the early 1980s. I couldn't believe how old she looked in ENTER THE NINJA. I've not seen MOTEL HELL or HOUSE WHERE EVIL DWELL despite owning both on DVD for years! :D |
Still wouldn't kick her out of bed for farting! |

Seriously, that's one bad film - although seeing Doug McClure doing some faux Kung Fu is worth the admission price alone. :D |
